Plays / TV / Playbills
| Title | Date |
|---|---|
| Playbill - Yes, My Darling Daughter (1937) - Playbill cover illustrated by Hoff for the original 1937 Playhouse production of Mark Reed's three-act comedy | 1937 |
| Tales of Hoff - Tales of Hoff became the first television series that CBS ever sold to a sponsor — Ipana Toothpaste (Bristol-Myers Pharmaceutical Co.). The format was simple. Each week Syd would draw and tell a story for children. According to Syd, “The show was very successful, according to the ratings, but there were so few television sets in 1947, if my wife and kids wanted to see a performance, they had to go to a neighborhood saloon. By the time millions of sets became available, viewers had better things to watch.” | 1947 |
| Stanley and the Dinosaurs - Stanley and the Dinosaurs (based on Syd Hoff's 1962 book Stanley) was a musical stop-motion short written and directed by John Clark Matthews for Churchill Films. With an original runtime of ca. 15 min., it was first broadcast on ABC in a 22-minute version as part of the ABC Weekend Specials series. | 1989 |
